The Eastern Iowa Aquarium Association is having it's annual Tropical Fish Show on Saturday and Sunday April 3rd & 4th, 2010.

Location:  Noelridge Park Greenhouse, On the corner of Collins Road and Council Street, NE, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Usually a typical Killifish show, the 2010 CKA show March 13 & 14 will be that and more.  The speaker is California's John Boylin, who has collected and participated four times in Smithsonian connected research in Panama.  His discussions of collecting, the needs of different species and their habitats will relate to both the killifish (Rivulus) and livebearers he has encountered. 

The Quad City Fishkeepers Tropical Fish Swapmeet will be on Sunday, March 7, 2010,  10:00am - 2:00pm at the Knights of Columbus, 1111W. 35th St., Davenport, IA.

Suggested $2.00 entry fee,  Seller's tables are $10.00,    50/50 and raffle drawings throughout the event.

NOELRIDGE GREENHOUSE, NOELRIDGE PARK,
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA
SHOW DATE: April 3 & 4, 2010. Free public showing 11:00 am to 5:00 PM. The Noelridge Park Greenhouse is located at 4900 Council Street NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Collins Road & Council Street)
SET-UP: The stands will be ready at noon Friday, April 2nd. The stands will hold tanks up to and including 20 gallons. Tanks larger than 20 gallons will need their own stand. Set-up must be completed by midnight, Friday, April 2nd. The Greenhouse will open at 6:00 AM Saturday for touch ups which must be completed by 7:30 AM, Saturday, April 3....
